Music Video Evaluation

Music Video Evaluation

WWW: I believe that what I did well in my music video was that I managed to match up the lip-synching to the correct parts of the music and matched it so that it looks like the artist is really singing the lyrics and not just lip-synching it.

WWW: What I think I also did well was the cutting. I managed to crop and cut the parts of the video that I think would be effective and used within the music video to make it interesting and exciting to watch. I also took into note all the parts where our artist are lip-synching and cropped their video by the verse and chorus, so that they audience watching are able to know who are the main artists. I also thought I cropped some good scenes of the dancing and of the background dancers to make the video more energetic to watch.

WWW: The last thing I think went well within my video was that I knew of the mistakes that I did at the beginning and was able to restore the videos and the music to how they are meant to be. I believe that by knowing about my mistake I would be able to make the video better and as realistic as a real music video would be.

EBI:  I think what I did wrong within the music video was that I was trying to put too many of the same scenes within the video mainly because I liked it. If it want the music video to be successful and as good as I believe it could be, I would have to have multiple scenes within the video to keep the flow going and not make it boring that the audience wouldn’t want to watch it anymore.

EBI: If we had more videos of Mickel and Kenny alone dancing I think that it would make the video interesting and we could have had a spilt screen of them lip-synching and dancing behind a green screen as their scenery can change during different verses and choruses. This would be effective because it would make the video fascinating to engage in.

EBI: I believe that we should have had a fixed ending for the video because in almost video we shot it just ends with the recording ending. Apart from when the green-screen with the backup dancers were filmed that was the only fixed ending we had and it would have been interesting to have within the video all of our shots with a planned ending to finish of the video to show the audience the end of the end of the video.
