Radio Station Target Audience

VIP

The channel VIP will broadcast to adults of 30+  because of the genre of music that they would play. The kind of music that they would play would be opera and classical because of the kind of atmosphere that is given by the name. The channel would want to target both male and female because the channel is called 'VIP'  so it would mean that they are trying to target both sexes.

The advertise that would be advertised would be things 30+ year olds would like and other universal adverts . These may include things such as car insurance, concerts, food and games related ads.  My design relfects on the channel because of its name- it should seem important and significant than all other channels.


SHRED

The channel Shred would broadcast its music to 17- 30 year olds due to the kind of music it would broadcast. The channel would play : heavy rock, metal , rock and roll and punk. Their target audience would probably be to mostly males but may also play a few songs for females.

The kind of ads that they would advertise would be hair gel, hair dye and instruments because I think it would be a goth or emo channel . I chose to do these designs because it reflects on what the channel is about and the kind of music.


LOCK

Lock would broadcast its music to 15+ because of the genre of music that they would play would be diverse and can appeal to everyone - including teenagers. Locks genre of music would probably be : trance. house. lounge. jazz, disco , funk, hip hop as well  as r 'n' b. This station would play different genres of music because it doesn't really have a diverse name to it suggesting otherwise.Their audience would be both female and male.

Their adverts would be diverse and vary from stuff like : albums, puplicity , news , home and car insurance due to their audeince.
